Chapter One
Hagar Revealed!
Z'aale Zarkon awoke at last. He was on his side, holding a woman. But not just any woman - his bride, his b'wt'cha, his Allura. She was lying on her side, her hair, that beautiful hair was spread out in a fan of glorious shades of gold upon the pillows. He touched it with his hands, enjoying how sensuous it felt on his skin. He marveled at how she seemed to be fashioned just for him. Perhaps she was.
He smiled, leaned over and kissed her. She smiled slightly, her lips parted as if waiting for another kiss from him.
He thought, she drank quite of bit of wine last night, she still must feeling the effects....so much the better.
Perhaps he should arrange to have aphrosdisia herb placed in her food-enough to make her willing to be with him, both in his chambers and out of them too.
Z'aale wouldn't not make the same mistake with this one as he made with Shahriya-he had left her alone too much.He wanted Allura to be at his side always-and love him.
It was strange to think that love would come to him so late in his life. He had always prided himself on avoiding it. It was also strange that he could not remember all that had occured between them last night.
You'd think one could remember a thing like that! he chuckled to himself. Ah, well, I think I will just refresh my memory.
With that thought in mind, he rolled over slightly on top of her and started kissing her in earnest. She kissed him back, not fully awake yet, but this did not discourage Z'aale, who continued to kiss her mouth. Each time more intense than the last. Allura's hands were in his hair, which had come unbound during their sleep. Z'aale loved the sensation of it and called her name. He didn't notice the slight frown on her face as he did so. Z'aale let his lips travel down her neck. He didn't realize until he had kissed her shoulders that something was missing...something that should've been there -- the choker--
the marriage choker was gone! His eyes narrowed. She couldn't have removed it - it's only keyed to my fingertips, and I know I didn't take it off.
Then he knew that this imposter was not his Allura. He decided to ask her directly where the choker went to see what she would say.
Z'aale looked up at her and said, "AlluraS'auh e'ya...where is your marriage choker? Her eyes widened as she looked down to her bare neck.
Damn! I forgot about the choker! I'll just act like I don't know anything about it.. Hagar thought frantically,Smiling sweetly, she said, "I think you took it off me last night, Z'aaleS'auh e'ya...kiss me again."
Z'ale Zarkon's eyes narrowed more. She's trying to distract me! I know who this is now! Z'aale quickly jerked the imposter up by the hair and said with venom in his voice, "I think you're mistaken about that ----HAGAR!!!"
Hagar gasped, and the illusion of Allura shimered and faded, leaving Z'aale grasping the hair(hair?) of his ugly witch Hagar.
"Now, Hagar," Zarkon said in an ominous voice, "where is ALLURA?" Hagar gulped, She was in trouble, big trouble.
